Usually,
a story involving a prophesy would go something like this: Once
upon a time there was a horrible king in a horrible land who
wouldnt go away. One day, an old gypsy farmer had a prophesy:
The horrible king would eventually be killed by a good knight
with a magic pig who once was an orphaned schoolboy. The knight
would rule the throne in a fair and just manner and everyone
would live happily ever after.
But DEVIOUS aint that kind of story. If instead, I were
to tell you DEVIOUS involved prophesies of a different sort
- Evil prophesies, along with hired goons, mysteries, nasty
parents, imaginary friends, goblins, Mothdevils, and roving eyeballs
Well, I guess that would be a bit closer to the mark. Dark
comedy-adventure in the vein of Lemony Snicket, Tim Burton, and
Douglas Adams. Suitable for ages 8 and up.
