Going Somewhere ?

Imagination gaming. Gothic madness. 80s geek-flashbacks. Urban-Fantasy tinged Steampunk. Pick your poison, pull up a chair, and stay awhile. Just remember to check preconceptions at the door.

Geek culture is hot. Dungeons and Dragons is hotter. Celebrity podcasts. Live-play Twitch events. Even a new tentpole movie starring Chris Pine. Showing staggering, year over year growth, over 50 million people now play D&D. Nearly all of them are teens and adults.

Amazingly, in over four decades, there has never been an easy, definitive way bringing younger players into the hobby… until now. Experience a new kind of game, either as a gateway to the perennial favorite, or as a unique doorway to adventure exclusively for Gen Z.

SECRET DOOR: An Imagination Game redefining a classic hobby for the next generation. Suitable for ages 8 and up.

Usually, a story involving a prophesy would go something like this: Once upon a time there was a horrible king in a horrible land who wouldn’t go away. One day, an old gypsy farmer had a prophesy: The horrible king would eventually be killed by a good knight with a magic pig who once was an orphaned schoolboy. The knight would rule the throne in a fair and just manner and everyone would live happily ever after.

But DEVIOUS ain’t that kind of story. If instead, I were to tell you DEVIOUS involved prophesies of a different sort - Evil prophesies, along with hired goons, mysteries, nasty parents, imaginary friends, goblins, Mothdevils, and roving eyeballs… Well, I guess that would be a bit closer to the mark. Dark comedy-adventure in the vein of Lemony Snicket, Tim Burton, and Douglas Adams. Suitable for ages 8 and up.
